Autumn Colour
Its the time of year when dozens of photographers, amateurs and professionals alike, huddle around popular vantage points – all jostling for that best selling image.
Autumn in the Lake District is one of my favourite times of the year. So many jaw-dropping colours in endless shades of gold, brown, red and green. Once again nature proves that colour theory rules can be broken, and that such vibrant and shockingly contrasting colours can work together perfectly.
Here’s a photo I captured at the edge of Thirlmere, early this morning on my way to Windermere. No fancy set up – just me, my camera, a wide angle lens, and no jostling.
Apologies for the watermark – I’ve had a few issues, in the past, with people and organisations flaunting copyright notices, and my images appearing where they shouldn’t without permission. If you’re interested in similar photography for your project, please do get in touch.
