After a series of disappointing images taken by another professional photographer, I was recently commissioned to photograph a range of interior shots for a group of three Lake District Hotels. The first of these, Merewood Country House Hotel and Restaurant, is late Georgian (circa 1812) and boasts fabulous mosaic floors, richly carved wooden fireplaces and stunning architectural details. In addition to wide shots of the main reception rooms, I also captured smaller details and cameos to illustrate the atmosphere of this luxurious hotel. My images will be used extensively throughout the hotel’s promotional materials, including printed media and their new website.
