A new logo, identity and brand for a global organisation dedicated to raising awareness and teaching of life in regional seas and oceans.

This stylish new logo will be used on all stationery, marketing and promotional materials, and educational resources.

I designed and produced this project whilst working at Zinco.

Impact 30th Birthday Logo

Impact International are global leaders in sustainable business transformation and people development. Their learning journeys and training solutions inspire new thinking and generate the meaningful dialogue needed to create and develop sustainable enterprise.

As part of Impact’s 30th Birthday Celebrations I was asked to create a new logo which would be applied to all marketing materials throughout the year. Designed using bold, chunky type and using a variety of ‘fun’ colours from Impact’s corporate ‘palette’ means the logo is can be reproduced at all sizes and on a wide variety of materials.

I designed and produced this project whilst working at Zinco.

Zinco Design Solutions is a small graphic design and web development company based in the central Lake District. Time for a major corporate identity ‘overhaul’, so I was asked to work on this. The dotted halftone edge on the logo represents the origins of the term ‘zinco’.

Hayes 5 Year Plant Guarantee Logo

Hayes Garden World is a large garden centre based in Ambleside.

Hayes are so confident about the quality of their hardy plants, each one comes with a 5 year guatantee. To promote this amazing guarantee, Hayes asked me to produce a logo to be used in printed materials, on signage and also point-of-sale materials.

Dave Pearce Van Livery Wrap

Dave Pearce is an arborist undertaking all kinds of tree work including dismantling, pruning, firewood processing and supply.

Dave wanted an entire vehicle wrap for his new Isuzu truck, including flourescent/reflective chevrons on the tailgate. This design uses a single woodland image along with Dave’s new logo.

A new logo for Dave Pearce, a South Lakes based arborist.

I designed a sleek, glossy, metallic effect logo to contrast with Dave’s work, with the two main green colours used in this design taken from Dave’s original logo.

Impact Beyond

Impact Beyond is an emerging social enterprise, sponsored by Impact International, providing capacity building services to Schools, Charities and Social Enterprises. My concept for this logo design was literally ‘outside the box’, with a modern design and fresh vibrant colours.

As part of this corporate identity submission, I also provided design concepts for stationery, leaflets, a website and a roller banner.

Aspire

A new logo for my client Kirkgate Project Management Services, for a new initiative to inspire and engage young people to become more actively involved in activities in and around All Saints Church in Cockermouth.

My client wanted to feature the highly distinctive church steeple in the design. I used a freestyle, hand-drawn approach for this logo.

The logo is used on all printed materials related to this initiative – posters, leaflets etc.

Virtual Landscape Centre

The Virtual Landscape Centre, based within the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Stirling, have a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), 3D visualisation and virtual reality (VR), animation and media production.

As part of their recent website re-development, the Virtual Landscape Centre also asked me to submit a few ideas on ways to update their existing logo. My new logo designs highlighted the strong references to geographical and geological elements running throughout their business. Unfortunately, in the end, my client decided to keep their existing logo.

Suncoast Leisure, a sub-business of Hayes Garden World in Ambleside, approached me to help them develop a new range of out door furniture. The idea was to offer an illuminated garden table which maps out some of the most recognisable star constellations. For this project I was involved in everything from the naming of the range and individual furniture sets, through to designing the table-top, logo, leaflet, posters and information booklet.
