Paul Rose is a friend, colleague, polar explorer, expedition leader, professional diver, and BBC television presenter. His most recent adventure for the BBC was the highly successful ‘Oceans’ series.

Paul wanted an informative and exciting website which conveys all of the fascinating work he’s involved in. Paul’s new website is database driven, and includes a web-based content management system with a blog and image/video upload capability. Recently Paul was telling me, with some excitement, how he’d managed to add up-to-the-minute information to his website via a dreadfully slow connection at a dodgy internet café in Bangladesh.

The Marine Education Trust (MET)’s approach to environmental education has three core principles. Helping communities discover and understand the marine environment is key to promoting its conservation. Practical, field-based activities not only have the greatest impact in terms of acquiring and retaining knowledge, but they also help to build confidence and life skills, and so bring additional benefits to children and young people. Successful conservation programmes require the full involvement of the local community, so working with and supporting grass-roots NGOs is vital to the long-term sustainability of any initiative.

This is a dynamic, database, driven website with an integrated web-based content management system. In addition to this website design, I also provided logo, corporate identity, full branding and brochure/report proposals.
