New ‘5in1′ Website Template

Ever since I first set-up Dave Johnson Design, I’ve striven to offer clients the very best products and services, for the most competitive prices. Originally, my static HTML website templates proved very popular with several clients, and many are still benefiting from these sites today. However, the website services I can now offer clients have taken a giant leap into the future.

5in1 is one of my new ‘premium’ business website templates – but 5in1 isn’t just a pretty face. Behind the stylish new design lies a robust, dynamic, state-of-the-art website content management system (CMS). As its name suggests, 5in1 is available in one of 5 stylish colour options.

The CMS is very simple to use and administer, and can allow for multiple levels of user access if required. No special software is required to use the CMS – site owners can add/edit/delete pages, news articles, blog articles, menu items, and content images using the standard web browser already have loaded on the PC. Content can be added, edited or deleted at any time, from any PC, and from any location in the world with internet access!

Bubblehouse website

bubblehouse was my old band from the 90’s. Our MySpace page still gets a considerable amount of visitors and comments, so we thought it might be better to have a website of our own – particularly as there’s talk of getting back together and writing new material.

This dynamic website is database driven, includes an easy to use content management system, photo sliders, and image galleries, as well as a facility to allow visitors to leave comments or send in their own photos etc of old bubblehouse gigs.

In the coming weeks I’ll also be adding sound clips and videos.

Lightbox – stylish image slideshows for your website

‘Lightbox’ is a simple and stylish image viewer, which can be added to almost any webpage, and is compatible with all modern web brower configurations. Any number of single or ‘grouped’ images can be added to the ‘Lightbox’ system. The ‘Lightbox’ system simple Java based scripting and requires no special plug-ins to be installed.

Simply click on a thumbnail to see a larger image, then use the ‘next’ and ‘prev’ buttons to move from one image to another. Finally, click the ‘X’ to close the ‘Lightbox’ viewer.

It really is that simple!

RBS Global Volunteering Website

After seeing the success of Impact International’s ‘Connect‘ website, the Royal Bank of Scotland asked me to design a new website for them, based around the ‘Connect’ structure.

This website, accessible worldwide by RBS staff only, and is designed to attract staff teams to arrange and participate in community based team building events.

This example illustrates one of my conceptual page designs for the website.

I designed and produced this project whilst working at Zinco.

Hayes e-Newsletters

Hayes Garden World is a large garden centre based in Ambleside.

Below are 2 examples of the Hayes monthly e-newsletter. As well as up-to-date sale and gardening information, the overall colour themes, textures and images change seasonally.

A Website for a local entertainer who provides ‘wedding singer’ services throughout Cumbria, the north of England and Scotland. This is a simple but stylish HTML website, with an integrated Contribute content management system, streaming YouTube videos and integrated MP3 music player.
